D'banj Claims He gave Davido His first Contract

D'banj claims he gave Davido a Rolex watch and gave him his 1st contract as a musician.

However the Davido the baddest boss has confirmed that D’banj gave him a Rolex in 2014, but denied signing any contract to the Kokomaster's record label.

On Spindle Magazine‘s Artiste on Artiste session D’banj said:

In 2014 when i went back to Nigeria some guys who normally work for me brought a young Artiste whom they ask me to sign him, i could remember we gave him a Rolex as a first signing on fee

After signing the artiste not quite long i got a call and was told the artiste parents wanted to meet with me, and so i went and they pleaded with me that they want there boy to go to school. today that boy am talking about happens to be one of the biggest artiste in this generation, that Artiste is Davido.

On a Twitter user requesting confirmation of the statement, Davido said:

Yea he actually did give me my first Rolex but I never signed anything! He paved the way for me any day”.
